The Greatest Puzzle

Life is so confusing!!!!!

What we want, we never get.

What we get, we are not satisfied with

or, it comes to us out of the blue.

What we plan or expect, seldom happens

And, what we hate, often repeats.

I stopped planning.

I embrace what comes in my way,

I accept every day as it comes to me.

No expectations, as it hurts the most.

I don’t dare to solve life’s greatest puzzle which swings

sometimes positively

sometimes negatively.

The Crazy App Store

Look what I found!!

How to become a doctor in 11 days App in playstore!

Yes, you read it right there is an app in the play store which “teaches” people to be doctor in 11 days!!

It’s written in Hindi, “Become a doctor in 11 days”

You don’t need to spend 6 years in a medical school, staying up late nights, working untiredly and facing the wrath of exams! Just download this app from playstore and you’re good to go!

The funny thing is they have divided their syllabus too, like first day you learn Physiology second day you learn anatomy!! I mean wow, who needs a med school?

Wow, they have a special section called “Tips of the Day” too. Such a dedicated medical teaching app :’)

Anyway, here’s the dangerous part.

They have openly written the names of the drugs, it’s function and how to use it? It can be that dosage mentioned for a given drug can be incorrect giving rise to complications plus the side effects aren’t prescribed too. Some random person may fall into the clutches of this app and prescribe a drug, which I belive is pretty dangerous.

Not to mention the fact that the app is full of advertisements (overdosage actually) which earns them a lot of CASH xD

This isn’t the only such app from the parent developer alfatoon apps. They have apps like these too.

You can learn computer too in 11 days. The app also provides an insight on how to clean your computer, because that is what you’ll end up doing if you learn computer using this app xD.

I liked the choice of word though, “Environment”. Nice!

Now, you’ve got a degree in Medical Science and Computer Science yet no luck finding a girlfriend? Worry not! The genius developer has a solution for your problem too :’)

Presenting, How to make girlfriend in Hindi!

They also have solution to make your kid intelligent

Nice, right?

Is it dimag (brain) or a bimag ( no idea what’s a bimag though?

Or maybe if you use these apps your dimag turns into a bimag? You never know!

They have got hosts of other apps too, including an app teaching you to celebrate your honeymoon.

And I thought we will be having flying cars by 2020!

Play store is really craaazzzyy.. :/

An Idea of “The Perfect Date”

Dating is an individual choice, It varies from hanging out at a random restaurant to playing video games together. However, for me, nothing can be more thrilling and adventurous than going on a trip. I don’t call it a “Date” unless it involves Travelling.

So what is my idea for a perfect date?

An Austria (Land where Mozart was born) Trip would be my idea for a perfect date!

Although, having a perfect date can be really difficult and challenging but I believe that, there is nothing more romantic than going on an Austria Trip!!

Where in Austria?

I’d start with Salzburg, one of the most beautiful city in the country!

We will kickstart start our date with a romantic evening cruise on the Salzach Riverboat! It will give an extraordinary view of the city and its calming mood.

The second thing to do would be to go on a hike, a long walk alone with my partner up the Untersberg!! It is the most legendary mountain of the Austrian Alps and just breathtaking and picturesque. Alternatively, if she doesn’t prefer the long walk we always have an option to take the cable car up to the top!

Next on list would be to just wander around the old town, the entire old town is itself a UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the most romantic and charming areas of Salzburg! After strolling around the sites grab a coffee at one of the Cafes and try out the bakery products (One simply can’t ignore the chocolate cakes of Austria!)

Next would be to watch a movie or two at open-air cinema in the chapter square. With  views of Salzburg Cathedral and Hohensalzburg Fortress in the background, it would be a night to be cherished! Dinner goals will be to try out the food at different stalls in the area, they’re usually inexpensive but delicious!

Before movies, It would be astonishing to watch the sunset on the Mönchsberg Cliffs. It’s a perfect place to spend some time together while watching a stunning panorama of the sunset over the city below!

Since I love BBQ And stuff, I’d take her to Glanspitz the next day, a lovely landscape with river, trees and garden. A perfect place for picnic and BBQ especially on a warm summer day.

When you’re in Salzburg on a date, how can you miss out the Schloss Mirabell? One of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. It has got a garden with blooming flowers and marble architecture. It is an ideal place for having a date. Comes pretty close to a “perfect” date.

If mood sets us up into art we would explore the art scene at Steingasse.

Salzburg isn’t the only romantic city in Austria, to make the date more memorable I’d take her to the city of Vienna, often dubbed as the most romantic capital city in the world.

While at Vienna, I’d kickstart the day by taking a stroll along the Danube river. The banks along the river are perfect place to sit and talk and have some food and watch the sunset. You must be knowing about the beautiful Danube river from a famous waltz by Johann Strauss II, “The Blue Danube”

Vienna Woods, dubbed as the Green Lung of Vienna is a spot which we wouldn’t miss! It is said to be the Most Ideal Place for Proposal in the world!

Beyond the city limits, we would go on a trek to the Jubilee tower. The trekking route to the destination is filled with plenty of places to stop by like duck filled ponds or benches perched upon grassy hills. The dazzling view from the top of the observation tower is well worth the trek and surely impressive!

A dreamy date? The vineyards rolling down the hills on the outskirts of city makes a perfect location for a dreamy date! Especially in the month of autumn when the wooded areas explode with colours of gold rust and orange!!

Hanging out in the MuseumQuartier, A great place to spend the evening time together as the atmosphere is quite buzzing. With a huge range of cultural sites in this area, it means you shouldn’t be running out of things to talk about.

A perfect date location need not be always set at a romantic setting. Haus des Meeres a World War II tower is one of the best ways to get a bird eyes view of Vienna. You can also take a walk through the tunnels of aquarium underneath!

A picnic at the Augarten one of the most picturesque and oldest park in Europe. It is designed in the French style! A perfect place to witness sunrise!

And everyday, always have coffee at the coffee houses. There is nothing more romantic than coffee houses of Vienna. Perhaps, Vienna is believed to be the romantic capital of the world just because of its coffee house! Also, will not forget to share a sachertorte 😀

Then, try out some authentic Austrian Cruisine at Naschmarkt, the 16th century market. We can buy some souvenir and stuffs as memorabilia..

Would also go on skiing at the high hills of Vienna!!

And at last, I’d end the almost “perfect” date with a candle light dinner at the Prater, city’s most iconic Ferris wheel!

And the best thing about Austria? Well, Its Austria! 😉

The Anatomy Viva

It was my first-year Anatomy practical viva (Histology Slides) and I had literally gone without any adequate preparations and revising the slides.

With a lot of struggles and random tipping off I figured out that it was a slide of hepatocytes (Liver cell) and confidently drew the diagram on my answer sheet. It was all going fine and as expected, however the problem? I had no clue on the exact basis of identification of them.

So, this examiner comes and asks me what the slide is and what I have drawn. I said “Liver”. He continued, Why do you think its liver?

I was blank and having a very hard time recollecting the identification points for liver slides. I wanted to be a decent student and not waste the precious time of examiner which he can utilize to screw other students so I replied in a haste..

“Because sir, It has a lot of pinkish circles which are usually seen in the liver slide”

Till date, I am still not sure, why he stopped asking me any further questions .. :/

Why it is said that one should not have a pic clicked with a setting sun? Does it symbolise the end for that person? How the most colourful event on the earth can be so inauspicious? Let us think a little more.

Sunsets are the proof that the endings can be beautiful. It brings hope: A tiring day for every creature on this earth is ending with the promise of a new day, new life, new hope with another beautiful sunrise.

You have ended your day well, may be successfully or not, but the end of the day drags you towards your sweet home, to your dearest ones, to those who are waiting eagerly to meet you at the end of the day. How the sky looks like when all the birds fly towards their nest after the sunset making various shapes in the sky? Their chirping all over the sky reminds you of the evening which has arrived. How all the creatures of the forest turn around and returns to their dens? The sunset brings hope for the night and the next day. The sunset brings the ‘rest’. As soon as we reach home after a daylong work, we embrace our bed so lovingly! The supper meal, the television, the books, the coffee, everything which is at home give us a sweet feeling. The flashback of the whole day may make you smile or make you cringe but the smell of your own home will give you the rest your every cell wants.

The beautiful sunset brings in so many colours in the sky! It is worth watching as somebody said do not waste your time sitting inside while the sun is setting. The person may sound mad but he is true. How the things go so smoothly for every creature on this earth? The sky, the soil, water resources, the horizon, the seas, the mountains. nature, the sunsets and the sunrises are altogether perfect. The ecosystem is musical and nature is loving- let us not destroy the music, let us live in peace on this beautiful earth.

As the station wagon pulled back onto the highway, the sun was slowly sinking below the horizon like a leaky boat. Well, except for that fact that boats are not generally round, orange and on fire. Hmm. Come to think of it, in no way whatsoever did the sun, in this instance, resemble a leaky boat. My apologies. That was a dreadful attempt at simile. Please allow me to try again.
As the station wagon pulled back onto the highway, the sun was slowly sinking below the horizon like a self-luminous, gaseous sphere comprised mainly of of hydrogen and helium.
